Full-time roles in Oxford, Cambridge and London

We are looking to recruit exceptional tutors with plenty of initiative and self-motivation, who are well-organised and work well in a team.  Enjoy working in a nurturing and challenging start-up environment where your skills will be highly valued.

This full-time role involves a combination of mornings in the office and afternoons tutoring one-to-one in your specialist subject/s, which should include Maths. You should be flexible to spend time tutoring over the weekends and sometimes in the evenings; this will be balanced with time off during the week.  You should also be willing to tutor online.  This role is ideal for a recent Oxford or Cambridge University graduate.  It comes with a competitive remuneration package.

  • based in Oxford, Cambridge or London

Job description

  • tutor in your specialist subject/s, which should include Maths

  • communicate with clients, including about Oxbridge admissions

  • work in small teams on a variety of projects

  • various admin tasks (as in all small businesses)

  • scope for helping to develop our international client base

  • scope for being involved in digital marketing

  • scope for being involved in developing academic resources

  • scope for project management and leadership

  • may include travel to schools in the UK and internationally

Work pattern (40 hours per week)

  • core office hours: 4 or more hours per day between 8.30 am and 2 pm

  • a commitment to tutoring up to 20 hours per week, including online tutoring – to be balanced with time in the office

  • your tutoring schedule may include some evenings and weekends

  • you must be available for tutoring during the Easter school holidays, and the half terms in February and May

Remuneration

  • £25 000 to £30 000 depending on experience

  • five weeks paid holiday per year

  • pension contributions
