Oxbridge Intern

3½ month contract in Oxford

Oxford and Cambridge Tutors is a dynamic and fast-growing company dedicated to providing our clients with a high-touch and personalised tutoring service. We are looking to recruit exceptional Oxford and Cambridge graduates with plenty of initiative and self-motivation, who are well-organised and work well in a team. This role is a 3½ month contract covering the peak of the Oxbridge season (September to December). The successful applicant will work on a variety of exciting projects, and receive on-the-job training. With the team being relatively small and dynamic, there will also be opportunities for being proactive, showing initiative, and taking the lead from time to time. This role comes with a competitive remuneration package.

Job description

  • Administration of our Oxbridge programmes, from choosing the best tutors for a particular role to keeping track of programme hours

  • Liaise with clients on the phone or online about their children’s progress, and organise whatever is necessary to provide an excellent client experience

  • Create timetables for our larger events such as the Admissions Test Weekends and Mock Interview Days

  • Ensure the quality of our feedback by making sure interview reports are grammatically and aesthetically professional

  • Option of doing some tutoring as part of the role

Location and work pattern

  • Based at our offices in Summertown, Oxford

  • 3½ month contract from September to December

  • Occasional evening and weekend work during events, for which time off in lieu will be given

Remuneration and benefits

  • Salary £2,000 per month

  • 20 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays (total 28 days) FTE
