Summer Intern

6-week role in Oxford

Oxford and Cambridge Tutors is a dynamic and fast-growing company dedicated to providing our clients with a high-touch and personalised tutoring service. We are looking to recruit exceptional Oxbridge undergraduates and postgraduates with plenty of initiative and self-motivation, who are well-organised and work well in a team. The successful applicants will work on a variety of exciting projects giving them the opportunity to develop skills ranging from programming and data to recruitment to sales.

Job description

Work on a variety of projects depending on which skills you would like to develop, including:

  • Writing articles for our websites, and creating engaging academic resources

  • Market research—carry out competitor analysis to gain insights about how we may improve

  • Maintain and improve our tutor data so we have the latest information to share with our clients

  • Build tools to automate our back-end processes, working with different members of the team to determine how to best achieve this

  • Maintain and build web pages in WordPress

  • Work with our Marketing team on digital campaigns

  • Assist with organising online events and webinars

  • Option of doing some tutoring as part of the role

Location and work pattern

  • Based at our offices in Summertown, Oxford

  • 6 week internship in July/August 2022, exact dates negotiable

Remuneration and benefits

  • £1,500 for the 6-week internship

  • Gain skills and experience in a variety of areas—including entrepreneurial insights—from working in a small business

  • We would be happy to provide a reference after the internship

  • Possibility of a full or part-time role with Oxford Tutors at a later date
